Allegheny Flats

On a fishing trip at my friend’s camp, I was able to capture this scene while on the Alllegheny River in the fall. It was early in the morning and fog had begun to rise off the river. The colors at that time in the morning were very muted. I found the the hues and tones of this atmosphere very intriguing. As the fog lifted the vegetation colors warmed. I lightly applied pastel to the floliage to demonstrate this.
