Gliding - Limited Edition
Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Print
Image size (17¼ x 20¾) Series Limit 100
This piece was inspired by a view from my long driveway on a hundred acre farm that I lived on several years ago. Although I started it while living on the farm, I recently began to work on it again and finished it March of 2022.
The war in Ukraine began while I was completing it. Consequently, it took on a somewhat different meaning for me than I originally intended.
When I now look at the sky in this piece, I feel a sense of tension among the clouds. It seems as though it somehow parallels the conflict in the world. The darkness with the lightness of the sky coming through can perhaps give one a sense of hope for better days ahead.
This giclée print is printed from my original watercolor and pastel painting.
